Mississippi Went BIG!

Updated: Oct 4, 2020

September 26-27, 2020 | Pelahatchie, MS | Big Girls Report

Good Things Don't Always Come In Small Packages

The Big Girls Report hung out in Pelahatchie, MS September 26-27, 2020 and discovered that good things don't always come in small packages or big cities.

The Big Girls Skills Academy hosted numerous girls 5'10 and taller at Bigfoot Training Academy in the quaint town of Pelahatchie. These young ladies were able to participate in drills and skills designed to specifically to enhance this specific group of players.

Over a two day period, players were engaged with high quality training by professional trainers like Leslie Toole (Director Bigfoot Training Academy), Lataryl Williams (Head Coach @ East Central CC) and Jaleesa Taylor (former AC @ MS College and current Head Coach @ NW Rankin HS). The staff constantly engage the players and offered continuous feedback.

Exposure for the Bigs!

In addition to Big Girls Report, BallN Prep and Delta Report covered the event. Along with the chance to improve their overall basketball abilities, players were in a position to gain local, regional and national attention.
